ive just read your post in the 'ban Awol' thread
you referred to Awol as a thick Yorkshire t**t, this may be true but whom may i ask made you judge and jury? do you know him? are you making assumptions based on fact or are you reading a couple of threads and jumping to conclusions? heres a suggestion, why dont you go back to how this all started instead of just assuming whatever the h2g2 editors say is fact afterall there are 2 sides to every story..only in this case the h2g2 editors yikes'd a lot of posts that were funny (not rude or offensive) so unfortunately its very difficult to see 2 sides of this 1 as h2g2 editors have no sence of humour..i think it got a little out of hand when Awol said he was going for editors job in jest but they took the post way too seriously and as a result Awol finds himself in this situation but i doubt very much from your comments you have a clue as to what the you are talking about!
oh if you wish you may refer to me as an English t**t though my friends call me b***h neither of which would offend me either, like Awol himself has said many times (hes always got something to say mores the pity) lol you have to care
its spelt like this my ignorant pal - Hoo. It's an abbreviation. Not a question.

"ive just read your post in the 'ban Awol' thread"
Congratulations. Did you have help?
(I'm smirking at the irony of being called "illiterate" by someone who begins their post "ive")
"you referred to Awol as a thick Yorkshire t**t,"
I did.
"this may be true"
Then we're in agreement.
"but whom may i ask made you judge and jury?"
Um... you don't really understand how this process works, do you?
I, on the other hand, do understand it - being as I actually INVENTED the process. Check out the author credit on the Transgressions Procedure help page if you don't believe me.
So - here's the explanation in small words for you.
Nobody made me judge. I'm not the judge.
Nobody made me jury. I'm not the jury.
The staff of h2g2 are judge and jury and executioner.
Like all us other members of the h2g2 using public, I'm just a character witness, and based on the available evidence I made an observation of AWOL's character - one you actually admit is valid. The point of the process is to allow the Eds to make a decision on a life ban carefully instead of in a rush - that's all. It also, incidentally, allows them to judge the person facing a ban by the quality of their friends. If you are representative of AWOL's friends, I don't think I'll be holding my breath until I see his suspension lifted...
So what's the problem?
(Smirking once again at being called illiterate by someone who doesn't know when not to use the word "whom"...)
"do you know him?"
No.
"are you making assumptions based on fact or are you reading a couple of threads and jumping to conclusions?"
I am reading ONE thread - a thread under the entry which clearly states that if you're banned you shouldn't open another account. Given that AWOL has posted in that thread after being banned, I don't need to read anything else to conclude he's a thick t**t. I got the "Yorkshire" part from you, if it matters.
"heres a suggestion, why dont you go back to how this all started instead of just assuming whatever the h2g2 editors say is fact"
Do you know me? At all? Obviously not. Accusing ME, of all people, of trusting the Editors' word is the height of comedy. I've been a thorn in their side, and they in mine, since well before you'd heard of this site. I trust NOTHING they say without independent evidence. But AWOL has provided all the evidence required. That's what I based my opinion on.
"afterall there are 2 sides to every story..."
There are 3 sides to every story. Your side, my side, and the truth.
"The truth is a 3 edged sword." Ambassador Kosh.
"only in this case the h2g2 editors yikes'd a lot of posts that were funny (not rude or offensive)"
Not to you. You are not the only user of this site. Many users of this site are children, with licence-fee paying parents. Don't be disingenuous.
"h2g2 editors have no sence of humour..."
Smirking once again at being called illiterate by this person...
I agree. However, they have a keen sense of keeping their jobs at a time the whole of BBCi is under the microscope.
I've had an Edited Entry summarily deleted and told it'll never be suitable for use again - for no reason. So don't presume to lecture me about the Editors. I know them better than you, have more reason for complaint, for longer. OK?
"i think it got a little out of hand when Awol said he was going for editors job in jest but they took the post way too seriously"
And it never occurred to him or you that since the Italics are/were recently in the midst of a round of redundancies they might be a bit sensitive to such statements?
"i doubt very much from your comments you have a clue as to what the you are talking about!"
See above.
"oh if you wish you may refer to me as an English t**t"
I'll stick to illiterate moron if you don't mind.
"though my friends call me b***h"
Gosh. And what do people who DON'T like you call you? No, second thoughts, I haven't the time and neither, I suspect, have you.

Morning Who,
no i have no difficulties reading and writing thankyou
no we are not in agreement, i do not consider him to be thick, but he is from Yorkshire..are you prejudiced towards people from Yorkshire? not really a good enough reason to vote for the banning of someone from a site is it? your ignorance suggests perhaps it is you that is thick? not that im casting aspersions
you invented the 'process'? you come over as being very proud of the fact but in actual fact someone who insults the offender in question because of his heritage and culture is no more than a rascist and has no business in fairly representing anything
well i am trying to answer ALL your questions to be fair you answered mine but you dont half go on 1, i mean i know its good to talk but lol
it seems we are in agreement where the h2g2 editors are concerned however i do believe to have a fair and unbiased opinion of somebody we should assess ALL the facts and not assume because of where a person comes from that they are either a 'thick' or intelligent 't**t', these comments, though you do make a lot of sence (in some matters), are wholly uncalled for!
the illiterate moron (lmfao)

Hoovooloo Posted Sep 24, 2003
Did you even notice the subject line? Apparently not...
"no i have no difficulties reading and writing thankyou"
The evidence suggests otherwise on both counts... but who am I to burst your delusions of adequacy?
"i do not consider him to be thick"
I never said you were a good judge...
" but he is from Yorkshire..are you prejudiced towards people from Yorkshire?"
No, I'm prejudiced against stupid people, and even then only AFTER they've proven themselves to be stupid, so it hardly counts as "prejudice", really. He's demonstrably stupid, and so are you. It's not nice to hear, but it's the truth.
"not really a good enough reason to vote for the banning of someone from a site is it?"
Merely being stupid is not a reason to be banned, otherwise I'd be campaigning to get you banned too, and I'm not.
Breaking the rules of the site IS a reason, and he's done that. He's done it in a particularly stupid way, too, which is why I was pointing and laughing.
"your ignorance suggests perhaps it is you that is thick?"
My ignorance? Good one. Tell me another.
" not that im casting aspersions "
I'm honestly suprised you can even spell it, let alone manage to do it.
"you invented the 'process'? you come over as being very proud of the fact"
I used to be more proud than I am now...
"but in actual fact someone who insults the offender in question because of his heritage and culture"
Once again, idiot - I wasn't insulting him because of his heritage and culture, I was insulting him because he's an abusive, stupid git. I included the word "Yorkshire" merely to annoy him, and you. It worked. Two for two.
"...is no more than a rascist"
I assumed you "racist", although it's equally possible you mean "fascist". It's often so tediously hard to tell what illiterate people MEAN, d'you see?
" and has no business in fairly representing anything "
I represent nothing but myself. Why? What did you think I represent? (apart from a world full of people more intelligent than you).
"well i am trying to answer ALL your questions to be fair you answered mine but you dont half go on 1, i mean i know its good to talk but lol"
Communication is what this site is about. Indeed, communication is ALL this site is about. You're not very good at it, so I'm not surprised you're not comfortable with it. May I suggest a solution? F**k off somewhere else a little more to your downmarket inarticulate tastes. Just a thought.
"it seems we are in agreement where the h2g2 editors are concerned"
I doubt it. Superficial resemblance in bottom line perhaps. I doubt you and I would actually agree on very much. Let's face it, we can't even agree on how I spell my NAME - how likely are you to be able to form a rational opinion on something when you're too damn thick to spell someone's name correctly when they tell you how?
"however i do believe to have a fair and unbiased opinion of somebody we should assess ALL the facts and not assume because of where a person comes from that they are either a 'thick' or intelligent 't**t'"
I did NOT base my statement that AWOL was thick on the fact he's from Yorkshire. I based it on the fact that he's thick. The fact he comes from Yorkshire is merely an interesting side detail inserted to annoy morons. Score!
", these comments, though you do make a lot of sence..."
Yeah, you have no difficulties reading and writing...

What a horrible abuse of the smiley. Once, it stood for something noble. Something to be proud of. A sign of integrity and valour. Now it stands for the more illiterate end of the babbling classes.

Lucinda,
the illiterate and babbling classes? lol your opinions are noted and filed in the waste paper bin
incidently this thread is being watched by the powers that be..
but perhaps you already know this as 'some' people on this site may post whatever they wish, perhaps like Who for an example as this post was discussed in the aces forum by (well im not allowed to mention names) an ace, they said they should 'some', (probably mine cos Who appears to be able to post whatever he wishes and i have the most innoffensive posts removed for the pettiest of reasons but i guess when you dont follow a clique this tends to happen), of these postings here but it was more fun watching Who belittle me..not that i have taken offence to anything Who has said but yet another case of the aces making up the rules as they go along
NB. any ace considering this post, it has already been discussed in the other thread that this is attached to the discussing of things confidential within the aces forum and as nobody seems to dispute that fact or consider it a big deal you'll have to think of a better excuse to yet another 1 of mine
