If you haven't seen it so far, there's been some controversy about this entry A1095996 'Inertia equals Gravity', here F47997?thread=1644703 which the Editors, lacking scientific background, having responded to by creating this one in the Science Explained forums here F2124165?thread=1649554
My impression is that the entry is wrong, but I too lack the scientific background to be certain. So I thought that, being the author of the entry on Centrifugal Force, and an engineer to boot, you might be able to cast some light upon this one?

Have read it, and agree with those who say it's only salvageable by bookending it with notes to the effect that while it might sound plausible, it's wrong. Sort of a warning to non-specialists.
I've further commented that Scouts should not pick entries from PR that they don't understand and on the content of which they're not equipped to comment. Take a look at the PR thread attached to the unEdited version of that entry - it's VERY short, and most of the comments say things along the lines of "no idea whether this is true but it reads well and the grammar is OK". And after a few comments like that, it was picked! Compare and contrast the kicking the Centrifugal Force entry got in PR, and rightly so. I've made my comment in the EF thread.
Thanks for the heads-up.
