Can't believe no one has said hello yet, any way here goes:
Welcome to H2G2.
Normally an ACE would drop by to say 'hello' but it is quiet
here tonight, so you have me
Feel free to browse around and post in any forums you find interesting.
Here are a few links to get you going:
The ACE's (Assistant Comunity Editors)
reside here:http://www.h2g2.com/A214796
They are normally the meeter-greeters around here,
I'm not one, but I thought it fair to say hello.
There is a newcomers page here: http://www.h2g2.com/A5752
Full of good info.
If in doubt, just ask. Feel free to drop a line to one of the
ACE's, or myself and we will try to answer any queries you might
have.(just click on a name in a forum or article and it will take
you to their homepage)
Also if you fancy a coffee and a chat, drop in to
The Aroma Cafe:http://www.h2g2.com/A202924
The main thing is to have fun!Oh and have a fish
BTW, no doubt an ACE will be along at some point to say 'Hello' properly.
Also If you click on the HG logo top left of page, it will take you
to the main page, with many a link on it!
Have fun,
B-17

Thank you for the hello and for the fish. To be honest, I hadn't thought about anyone coming about to say hi because I've been busy just looking around the place. I'm glad something like this is here.

Well, I know that it can sometimes feel strange if you are clicking on other peoples pages and seeing that people have been to those pages and said hello, but no one has been to yours yet.
It can sometimes get very busy here. Esp. just now as Douglas Adams is heavily promoting the site, so lots of other new people come along and check it out.
Keep in there As I said, any problems drop me a line here or at my homepage, or contact one of the ACE's by leaving a message at their homepage.
Enjoy
