Me and Trillians Child are opting for the 9th and 10th of December as the date of the southgerman meeting. What are you lot thinking of doing? Coming down? Would be nice to hear from you on the forum "1.Treffen des Komitees..." You can get an aproximate idea of the vicinity in which it will take place on the article to the german meet.

It´s saturday and sunday. So you can go over to england on friday, take the train down here on saturday and stick around on sunday (should dates fall together, of course)

I don't want to intrude but a lot of beer would be nice. You may have heard that the English meet will be held at the weekend of 24th-26th november so that won't be a problem.
What palce in Germany did you have in mind?

The probable place is the "Gasthaus zum Krabbanescht" in Calw-Holzbronn, aprox. 45 min. from Karlsruhe. It´s got its own Whiskey distilery if that is of any interest. And I can offer a talk with a former member of Alcoholic anonymous if neccesarry, Don Alfredo

Thanks for the offer Engländer but I must decline. A whiskey distilery sounds interesting. If nothing else comes up I would be glad to join the party. That is if some more people from Alphen aan den Rijn are going. I don't fancy a long drive all alone.

As Don Alfredo already told you, the English Meet is the end of November. The group from Alphen will probably talk about the German Meet very soon. The same goes for me as far as going's concerned. I won't come over just by myself, but if more people are interested, I will probably be there

Well, not yet, but I suppose I can come up with an answer somewhere next week . It also depends on the situation at work, since I'm working for a new client now

Do you already have a schedule for the day? You know, what are we going to do at the meet? Any special events, or just sit, drink and talk (which can also be great fun )

The idea is to go to a traditional german christmasmarket and have "Glühwein" (i.e. Hot wine with spices). I have made several possible suggestions, such as tobboganing( if there is snow) or iceskating, visiting a artneuveau style bath in Bad Wildbad, or just taking a walk on the moors in the black forest. Another possible feature would be iceskating, or sightseeing of the Landkreis Calw. Well, and I wanted to discuss this on Saturday evening. I think that is a little better than hypothetically making arrangements over the internet, and then finding that all are realy more intrested in sitting and drinking beer

All these questions Kheldar, you sound like the spanish inquisition, and you know, nobody ever expects the spanish inquisition. Anyway HI again and I will see if I can make it as well.
