Kheldar? As in THE Kheldar, crown prince of Drasnia?!
What an honour to meet you!
Well, I was just surfing around the neighbourhood, and I looked to see who's hanging around, and there I saw the name of one of my favourite people to have ever been pseudo-acquainted with.
The Belgariad (Malloreon, and prequels) form perhaps one of my very favourite epic/myth-adventure stories. I also love the epic of Sparhawk (Eliad and... the name eludes me...). I am quite a reader of fantasy novels. I love meeting people who also love the genre (for various reasons), and when I noticed you were on H2G2, I couldn't resist saying hello.
Your page looks very intriguing (I was just now in the midst of reading your synopsis of the Belgariad) and I shall have to do a bit more exploring, I think.
A la prochaine,
'Tanzuka (Lady Daena)

Indeed, you have noticed correctly. Although I must say, 12th in line of succession is closer to the truth .
Thank you for visiting. I'm always happy to welcome people to my humble abode. And thank you for complementing on my page. I quite like it myself.
It's nice to see another fan of Eddings over here. I have met quite a few so far, and I always keep an eye open for more (btw, the sparhawk series are called The Elenium and The Tamuli).
Have you been on h2g2 for long? Enjoying yourself over here?

*curtsies, blushing at her forgetfullness*
Yes - thanks for the names. That was bugging me a bit. I knew it was wrong - of course it didn't bug me enough to motivate a net-search, just enough to niggle. What did I say, the Eliad and the Talmudi? Yes, obviously I've been studying ancient literature too much. Gotta get back to the important stuff - fantasy of course! (i suppose, depending on your point of view, it's ALL fantasy...)
I am enjoying myself immensely, actually. I've been here since about July, I think. I loved the Guide trilogy, and when my friend stumbled upon the site and sent it to me, I had to get in on it! Getting more into it now, but the only problem is I have little timt to work on what I'd like to be doing here. Right now I'm exploring a little more in depth and trying to meet some people I guess. In that endeavour, the links were quite helpful actually.

Well, although I have been here since March, I always like to meet new people here. I'm having a great time on h2g2 as well. There are so many different things to do here, I haven't had the time to explore all of it. And new things appear every day!
For now I'm sticking to the things that I already know, writing a Guide entry every now and then, and have loads of fun with the friends I have made here so far .
btw, what links were you referring to?

well, the post, the wordgame, and the waterworks.
the wordgame was interesting, though it doesn't look to have been visited much for some time, but it was fun to peruse. As for the Post and Waterworks, I have been before, but never took the time to read them, and I seem to get lost every time I want to find them!
btw I just now noticed you have a friend, Arutha. I may have to go pay a greeting to him as well... maybe I should just die my hair and become a groupie... but no, I'm MUCH too refined!

Greetings, Kheldar! Thank you for the kind words ... and the cheese! It's so nice to be given a warm welcome when you arrive anywhere. By the way, I too am a fan of David Eddings, and I like your name very much. I didn't give myself a name because I want to be able to prove to my friends' satisfaction that "Researcher 153055" is really ME.
Greetings, your highness...

Well, all of a sudden this place seems crowded with visitors. Great . Even more fun to see that someone personally comes to thank for a welcome. Usually people just reply to the welcome, not visit my page .
Hey Kumetanzuka, I am glad that my page is of use to you. This is the purpose of me posting those links there. If you are interested, you might want to visit the other places as well. Especially the Church of the True Brownie is great fun
