Hey, give me a break. I am at the volleyball court. I'm playing at the net, to block any smashes that come our way. The tallest person should be at that position, right ?
To answer your question,
Ik spreek ook Frans, Duits, een beetje Pools omdat mijn vader Pools was, en wat Spaans en Italiaans
Will join you at the court soon

Kheldar,
Danke für dieses, Kheldar, es ist nett, mehrsprachige Diskussionen zu haben.
Es agradable jugar el voleyball con usted también
Spero di vederlo là più tardi
do zobaczenia

Well I hope when Europe becomes one we will all speak one language
ENGLISH!!! (not that I don't understand the german and french and stuff but it's so much easyer)
BTW alicat where did you see a picture of me, I hope there not the ones taken on TM's birthday CAus I was a bit grumpy over there.
Hi there
bigalthefirst( patron saint of patron saints) Posted Jul 20, 2000
I have to agree, with a Polish father and an Irish mother I had enough problems understanding my parents so English will do for me as well.
What is English for where is my grolsch ?
Hi there
Kheldar (Don't hate the media, Become the media) Posted Jul 20, 2000
BA: Where is my Grolsch will do just fine
Arutha: You were just grumpy on TM's b-day?? what about all the other times ~evil grin~

Hi everyone. Seems we're all better at drinking than volleyball. Must be all the practise we get. *Plops down a case of Canadian, for everyone to sample.*

What *I* would like to know is if all this virtual drinking is any reflection to the RL drinking skills of our friends
Hi there
Kheldar (Don't hate the media, Become the media) Posted Jul 23, 2000
What does God have to do with this? I thought *you* were the one sending all these strange messages
I'm glad that's all over though. It was starting to confuse me in the end.

Big Al wakes up in virtual Netherlands-Holland -which is correct ?
He has a hangover not just from heading the lead balloon masquerading as a volleyball, he also had three too many Grolsch and Canadian beers and was that Polish wodka the wonderful wyborowa-globally recognised as even better than Stoli, that he was washing it all down with ?
Anway it's Sunday, time to sleep before the new work week begins at 4 am tomorrow when I get up !!
Night night everybody, night night.

Night, bigal.
Those messages had me quite confused, too. It wasn't as if I was just hitting the wrong keys either. They were just plain bizarre. I'm just thankful everyone stuck by me through the whole thing.

Alicat,
What's with the patron saint of good taste ?
We all know you couldn't tell the difference between an Aberdeen smokie and a smoked haddock standard variety.
Yes and another thing, who bestows these prestigious titles, I see cloughie's got one, you've got one-is someone trying to tell me something ?
I am going to move to New York to justify my paranoia.

BigAl! you were wondering about all the saints running around... well, we are all members of the h2g2 Guardian Angels. The Angels are just a group of people here to help new folks get around and be comfortable at H2G2.(we also drink a lot:-)) Just go here to apply: http://www.h2g2.com/F37639?thread=62310 and GOD- almighty will be happy to induct you into the fold! you can easily become one, although not likely the PS of PS's as we already sort of have one - Archangel Zax.

I must say, I kind of agree with Bigal. Everybody seems to be the patron saint of something nowadays. It was a very good initiative, but it looks like you can get a sainthood even if you're on h2g2 for no longer than a week. What's the use of giving people a title if they can't do anything with it? I can't see a researcher who's on h2g2 for only a few days him/herself start helping out other people. If I'm completely wrong about this, please fill me in, cause I think it's kind of strange too...

Well, I guess you'd have to take that up with GOD-almighty.

I thought an answer like that might show up . Oh well, it's none of my business really. I'm not a Guardian Angel. I was just wondering. The thing is that there's a risk that people won't take you serious anymore if this goes on. You'll just be another party crew who happen to have a funny name. I wouldn't want that to happen, cause like I said, the idea itself is very good

I agree with you there. I don't know what GOD has in mind, I will mention this to him in case he happens to miss it in his omnipotence.

If you wish. I was merely noticing something and since the subject was brought up, I thought I'd mention it

Good observation, Kheldar.
Arutha, I saw your picture amongst the other Dutch h2g2ers that the lovely Shazz had posted. I don't think they were from TM's party. You didn't look grumpy in it, just a little thirsty. Speaking of thirsty, would anyone like a drink?
