Well...if you mean David Eddings' Belgariad...I must confess that I have indeed read it . It's been one of my favourite fantasy series for a long time now

Yeah, it's cool...Do you know if he has any books other than Belgariad and that hunting trip in the woods thing...? 'Cause he wrote somthing like that.

Yeah...after the the Belgariad comes the Mallorean, also a series of five books about Belgarion and companions.
He also wrote two series of three books about the knight Sparhawk. Those series are called the Elenium and the Tamuli (and I must confess I like those even better than the Belgarion books )
He also did two prequels to the Belgarion series, called Belgarath the Sorcerer, and Polgara the Sorceress.
Atm he's working on a new series, of which book 1 is called The redemption of Altharus
I think I listed most of those books in my Belgariad entry as well
