h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I was just thinking life is great - leave college in 2 weeks - but your thought of how great Monster Munch is put me on a bit of a downer.

They got rid of all the great flavours - OK they still have the best - gonna stink forever - Pickled Onion, but what happened to the Beefy one and the other one (sorry can't remember what flavour it was only that I liked it). They've left us with a hot'n'spicy one, which though good is not the same as the original.

Any ideas why the did this?

Actually, I don't have any idea why "they" did this, but I do have some clues...

There is actually a sinister group at work in Britain today. I've no idea what they hope to gain by doing things like changing Monster Munch flavours, but I do know that they're also the people responsible for changing the name of "Opal Fruits" to "Starburst". They're also the ones who mysteriously make the price of Hubba Bubba and other gums go up by a penny every year or so.

Well, that's the theory anyway. Maybe it's just a set of eerie coincidences - who knows? (Who cares?)

Anyway, you're leaving college - cool! What're you going to do after that then? (And don't be a smartypants and say "Get really drunk" ) I mean, in terms of your future. Or something.

Well It's my birthday tomorrow, so I will be doing the getting drunk thing (as I did yesterday).

I'm not actually leaving college for good, just for the summer, so I'll be back in sunny Bradford in September. As for what am I doing it's trying to earn as much money as possible, as quickly as possible, to pay for my car insurance (£850 3rd Party!!!!) and to live next year.

I do hope to be an Optician 'when I grow up'. I didn't get the grades to go straight onto the Optometry course so I'm doing a course to become a dispensing optician, where IF my averages are high enough I can go onto the course when I qualify.

I've just come out of an Anatomy Exam so I'm trying to forget all about anything to do with biology at the moment and to concentrate on optics before thursday.

Actually the past two weeks I've been having a great time, what I really need is the social life without the work.

Well I've left now, just have to go back for my practical exam lessons.

Luck with the essays, luckily I don't have to write many of them.
