My name is speedygreen, and I have a problem. I have been trying to report a problem, but every time i try to talk to a guru or someone who can help me through the help and faq section, i get this huge runaround. I finally found a guru, and I need help! On my personal space, I have a link to my website, but my website is not on bbc or whatever this is. How do I get a link to my real website on my personal space. I would like to be able to link from my about me to my website. If you could respond as soon as you can, that would be lovely. Hi Speedygreen, and Welcome to h2g2! :) When I looked at the code for your page (which you do by replacing the U# in the address with testuserspace#, where # is your researcher number), I found the problem: in your you didn't do "http://"...this is needed to access sites outside... Hope this helps. :)

Oh, I have another problem on the same subject that i almost forgot. I put my email address in there with the links, and it doesn't go to something to let you email me. why?

Don't worry...I'm not bothered.

In html, it would be easy, just do a mailto: link...however, this does not exist in GuideML (to my knowledge). The best thing you can do is to type your email address normally, and say that people can email you there.

Actually, I just found out that you can do it....it just isn't mentioned anywhere on the site

The syntax goes like this: where address is your email address. Sorry to misinform you like that.
