Hallo Fiend.
I'm a regular at the Aroma Cafe. I'm also administrator for H2G2's Law of Continuity, which goes as follows: Once something has been imagined into existence, it has to be accounted for logically.
Thus, when you smashed the window at the Aroma Cafe yesterday morning, the rest of us had to call in a repairman and get it replaced. It was thought inconsiderate, especially as it was your second visit.
See, continuity is a form of h2g2 etiquette. It means you don't imagine things on a thread that are hard for the others to work around or that break the rules the other regulars are following (like, no alcohol is served at the Aroma Cafe, so there could not be a beer tent for you to run into). And who's this Dave?
All you need to do to join the crowd is to read the thread through if it's your first time posting to it. That way, you get an idea of who's there and what they're doing.
I'm not saying you can't burst in and burst out again, if that's your style. We'd just appreciate it if you wouldn't break things or invent matters that don't go with the site.
