The following passage came from my chinese listening in the Workbook. It's terrible but I laughed.

David was driven to the hospital by his family because his stomach was in agony. At first the Doctors in the ER thought he just ate some bad food, but after some tests realised it was an extremely severe problem. So his father signed the consent form for Surgery, and David went into his operation feeling very nervous as there were so many nurses milling around. But then one of the nurses said "don't be nervous" and he started feeling more relaxed then she said "oh I wasn't talking to you, I was telling the Doctor.

... And the workbook asks me what need has David to be nervous?
