It seems we got off on rather the wrong foot yesterday - both of us were being more than somewhat emotional. For my part, I was more emotional about defending my friend Fnord, as you two seem to have some problem with commmunication. Whatever. And this wasn't the first time I have stepped between you two and tried to make peace, if you will recall.
I had no disagreement about what you posted regarding poverty and population. I only got caught up later when you went all sarcastic on me and thought you could maybe try to make me feel stupid(?) Was that really your intention? I hope not.
I'm not stupid.
I don't think you are either.
But sometimes people get a bit over-emotional on these threads. Which truly is not necessary - it's just about discussing ideas.
The whole point is to challenge ideas. But this should not turn into a personal attack. Challenge the idea, and not the person. I think that is the best way to go. And treat all of your fellow researchers with the same respect that you would like to be treated yourself. I do try to do this. Though I admit I lost my temper a bit yesterday. That is why I am writing - to apologise for losing my temper with you. It was uncalled for and I should know better, but sometimes I let my emotions run away with me.
Well, that's all I wanted to say. It may turn out that we disagree on almost everthing, but I don't see that as any sort of problem. As long as we can disagree and still show respect.

azahar, firstly, thank you for your openness and honesty. It was not my intention to make you fee stupid. Seeing that may, please accept my sincere appologies.

I fully agree.

That would be very good indeed. I find people who agree with me to be rather boring and there is nothing I like better then a good argument, especially if it is backed up with good reasoning and examples. It's the best way to learn, I find.
