How come - I am the first to start a conversation with you. By your U Number, you have been around on h2g2 longer than me.
I saw you were on line and was intrigued by the way you were on top of the list and I have not heard of you before.

Hi vegiman,
I lurk and learn here rather then contribute very much, and I joined about 3 days after launch.
I got hooked by their prelauch email campaign - a series of flash movies from fictional reporters.
I've just been to see if those reports are still there, Fizz (an adolecsecent) U3000 is the only one I can remember & Her home page is there but "awaiting moderation"!
I still havn't worked out the point of the "who's on line" bit as I don't know of any live chat rooms.

There are no live chat rooms on h2g2. Everything revolves around making posts from your page.
Yes there are quite a few missing faces from the early days. I left it for a week, before joining because I thought it would be too hectic on site, and I was right, it ground to a halt, I hear
