Thursday is named for my FAVourite Norse God, Bruce... I feel it only fitting and proper that we should all bow to The Power Of Mjöllnir! The Thunder God Bruce kicked butt! LITERALLY!! And it's only fitting that we honor Him with a Day of His own.... Thursday! Besides, it will keep the Jokester God, Clyde, from having the day named Loki-day... or even Svathilfari-day! (Og veslings, Jorik!)

Furthermore, and in addition, too, I'd just like to logorrheate the fact that the word 'thing' is of Good Norse Stock... so the re-naming of Bruce's Day to "Thing-day" would not raise my hackles one little bit, albeit this confession may inflame some "Thurs-day" Purists. Perhaps the convening of an Althing, to debate the fate of Bruce's Day, would be in order? Or, maybe the creation of a Tingbok, betwixt whose covers we might archive our collective wit and wisdom, re Bruce and His Day?
The possibilities here seem incircumscribable, and it looks like there's a lot of 'em, too.
