* Trying to hide his vanity, which is like trying to hide an elephant (white?) under a small sofa... *
Well, it seems to be less about MY glorious deeds, and more about the human 'Gee whizz! Look how far we have progressed in the engineering disciple...' factor
Besides, It will obviously spoil and lovely stretch MY pristine ecology... and that's no fate for a planet I won 3rd Prize for in the Inter-Dimensional (Junior Section) Planet Design Challenge...

Who judged the competition if you are the Supreme Judge of the Universe?
Hey God...
GOD Posted May 11, 2000
Well given that humanity is effectively boxed into a backwater of space central...
I am the Supreme Being responsible for the 'Christian' part of this Universe, there are 'slightly' different ways of observing this Universe, be it Hindu, Buddism, Agnostic, Atheist etc...
It basically follows the tenant that 'you create your own reality', so I'll leave you to think through the ramifications of that
You also have to take into account of the Pan-Dimensional nature of this Universe, and also the existence of other Universe's entirely separate.
As to who rules it all, (I could give you the name of MY superior but it would mean precisely nothing to you) is mere irrelevance, because as with a Governmental department, there is always another strata above...
So no, I'm not going to tell you...

Have you ever read the Heilman book 'Job: A Divine Comedy' ?
It delves into this very same subject.
And the author does reveal the name of God's boss!

GOD Posted May 12, 2000
As a matter of fact I have...
...and the name supplied was just a spurious plot device
Still, quite a good read all the same.

Have you ever seen the play 'JB'?
It's about Job as well.
Believe me, Job was the best part of the Bible. That was some good writing you did there...

* Looks a tad embarrassed *
Ah, I'm sorry about MY treatment of poor old Job, mind you, I didn't really have a handle on humanity back then. It was a little hard to understand their seemingly pretty obsessions (...apparently they find it easier worrying about pretty things that might never happen, than worrying about the scarier, bigger things such as death, eternity and morality ) . I was far to concerned with coming up with good parables for my first tome...
As for the play, obviously I KNOW of it , but I haven't actually seen it in the flesh (...so I suppose, it doesn't really count )
You might be interested to read about MY latest want-to-be Job. Scroll down to Dear God, for a bear that finds it hard to bare reality...
