Eight weeks and barley ( I do hope the name doesn't stick with the kid) is still with us. Thank you for the book suggestion, it sounds delightful.
I have been told by the bossy older brother that there are some tittles I'm not allowed to add to Barley's collection, as he is purchasing them, "gee", the whole family is getting in on planning this child's literary education. I suppose this will leave me time to design and build clothing, toys and furniture. Perhaps I should build book shelves first
Sorry for the tardy reply, I have been off line recently.

Hi, There:
Barley... when the Kate told me she was"with child", back in early December, her sibs. coined the name barley (as being barely there/here), All is well, and it is likely that I will get to be a "Hells Granny", around August 10th.
I was listening to CBC's the Current on my drive, taking, Moniquie (Rhue) to the vet for her annual shots, and, (one of the) author's of "God's Brain", was being interviewed. I ordered the book... and thought you might like it as well. With "Luck" , I'll get to read it before Tumsup visits again.
Silliness aside, the book sounds like it will, answer my questions that I had hoped Dawkins would have addressed in The God Delusion,
I will wait, "till, the book arrives.
Take Care, and thanks for the sharing of books.

I heard that bit this morning, too.
Have you heard of the work of Michael Persinger's work at Laurentian University in Sudbury with what is popularly called the 'God helmet'?

The wiki article is interesting because it turns out that Dawkins tried it out once and it had not effect on him.

Yes, Thanks, for the reference, I'm not as accurate in these type's of "in-puts", (I'm a
spectrally, dyslexic/etc./ I have perceptional and or processing glitches(culturally, this makes me reluctant to communicate using written text with other humans... I'm much better with verbal communication ). Hence my somewhat "Flakey" rep on line. This forum does help me stretch, and practice(Bless be spell check).

Just in case you missed it here: F19585?thread=252800&post=104449390#p104449390
This may be a little late for this year, but by chance I found something today which would be an ideal gift for a young Canadian person who is interested in trains, Canadian history, trains, and the music of Mr. Lightfoot: http://www.bbc.co.uk/go/dna/h2g2/brunel/F19585/ext/_auto/-/http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/Canadian-Railroad-Trilogy-Gordon-Lightfoot-Ian-Wallace/9780888999535-item.html?ikwid=canadian+railroad+trilogy&ikwsec=Home
The paintings are beautiful and the words are . . . well, they're the lyrics of the Canadian Railroad Trilogy. What could be better?

And Merry Seasonal Thingy!
