Loneliness
Posted Feb 6, 2000
Is it better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all? Is it easier that I have loved Trey for a year and lost him than to have never had his love in this first place? These are questions I ponder as I go over every minute of 351 days of longing. I probably just need to break with the past... throw away all the things he's written me, put my Dropkick Murphys shirt at the back of my closet, get Stranger in a Strange Land out of its scent-preserving Ziploc baggie (it was at his house for most of these 351 days). I need to stop listening to songs that make me cry and start to listen to songs that make me laugh. Love ends. It's just so hard to say goodbye.
