Waterskiing on Windermere

Just had some bad news yesterday - They're putting a 10mph speed limit on Windermere in 5 years.
This will end the years of fun I have had, with the many friends I have made, through waterskiing.
I am Gutted.
I just hope I can find somewhere else to ski in England that offers the same sense of freedom that Windermere does at present.

The reason I joined h2g2 was to contact the Nottingham Trent Uni (or whatever it is now)site, so that it didn't stay on the most neglected list, but it's gone now anyway - How do I find it again?
