The countdown begins

Less than three weeks to go until I have to leave this place for good. 
My last exam is tomorrow and then I´m working the weekend. After that - hmm, practice my German perhaps (seeing as I was here to do that in the first place it might be a good idea!)
Home is calling - and I´m trying to ignore it.

Brother

My brother got his results of his finals today. He got a 2.1 AND he has a job offer now. 
I´m so pleased for him - he deserves it far more than I ever will. HeHe I´d say there´s a few hangovers back home today as they opened the champagne last night to celebrate!
*has flash of inspiration* ......must go ring him. NOW!!!

Study vs. computers

The eternal problem.... do I sit here having fun at the computer, or do I go to the library and finish studying for the two exams I have tomorrow?? The problem is, the exams are probably going to be easy, and I've almost completely finished studying for them... and it's just so warm and cozy here that I don't want to leave the computer cafe.............well, I guess that's been decided then...he he I'm not going to study until AFTER I've finished on the computers....maybe even after lunch...

Wonderful day

It´s sunny, it´s warm, my freaky flatmates have all gone out for the day, and my friend finally got in contact with me. Isn´t it freaky that when you´re waiting for someone to contact you it always feels like it´s taking so much longer, and then you realise that it´s only been a few days.
The only bad thing is that my mother rang and told me that when I come back home in July there will be a student sleeping in my room, and another in the spare bedroom. That means the matress on the floor of the computer room for me for a few weeks! And just when I was looking forward to getting my room back after living in student res for ten months!

Moan

I'm tired, I haven't slept since sometime yesterday morning. I'm hungover, and I'm waiting for an e-mail from a friend who seems to have a short memory - i.e. he's forgotten I'm alive. AND I have to work. But it's sunny outside. I think I could just about manage cheerfulness on that score!
