Read your entry (which I came accross today after returning to H2G2 after over a year away).
I'm both male & female but at different times separately (if you get my drift). I haven't been able to decide who is likely to be the eventual winner, David or Nikki.
I (mostly) keep my body shaved, eyebrows trimmed, nails longish, weight down and (pierced) tummy flat. Haven't come to any lasting decision on more permanent changes such as hormones, surgery etc.
At the moment I probably need both people. It's a problem finding anyone to talk to about these things. Should I get a new job as Nikki and start from there ? I just don't know. I guess I'm a very confused (or at best uncertain) womble !

I understand where you are I think as Im kinda there too. It takes boths sides of me to be me as one cant function without the other. I guess thats the real determination of weither one is TS or TG as I feel I am..a true TS can live(and live better) with the other half.

Hi
Good to hear from you.
Things have changed since my original posting in that my long-term partner and I have decided to live seperately.
This has/will give me the incentive & opportunity to be more of Nikki. I applied for a job a few weeks ago (as Nikki) and had the interview yesterday. It went quite well (as interviews go) and being an "equal opportunities" employer, the personnel department seemed unconcerned about my duality, though that doesn't me I'll get the job. I won't know for about a week.
I (Nikki) felt comfortable being interviewed about David's skills and experience. It was a pleasant day (yes, it was an all-day job with interviews, written exercises, psychometrics tests etc.).
I won't know if I don't try.

hope the interview went well. It was a bit easier for me as far as jobs go. I had an "EOE" who was very supportive(I transisioned on the job)and understood that in my case, the switch was to simplify life The meds I was on..(long story) created a situation where I was female except at work. Personel(human resourses these days) said as long as my work didn't suffer what should they care how I was dressed..just dont create disturbances that they could not support or protect/correct.
