Greetings from inside h2g2, from Outside (not outside Alpha Complex, obviously... I mean, who ever said anything about an Outside... what possibly could you expect to find there that you can't get by the bucketload - better, faster, shinier and with more Riboflavin - in here?)

Heya, thanks for dropping in! Man I haven't checked this place out in months... I'm sorta a casual here these days. Still, it's a small Complex after all dontcha think? I've been here since 1999 as well, and now that it comes to it, I have seen your name flitting about before. Pretty darn cool coincidence.

Dear TwophlagGargleblap,
I must congratulate you on your wonderful entry written on the King of the Belgians and the Belgian Congo. I know quite a bit about the period after 1950, because I was living in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and there was a lot of activity in that part of the world.
I would very much like to talk to you about it. There was a sociologist - unfortunately I cannot remember his name, but he wrote a report both on the Belgina Congo and the British South Africa Colony (which was the former name of Rhodesia. this guy attended the Peace Talks in 1919 and also the conference in San Francisco in 1950 when UNO was formed.
Who is the chap who is editing your piece? echo someone or other?
I have had a lot of trouble because I have lost my original site and I have taken a new name and really do not wish to continue with this site unless I have my old name back. I have several friends trying to find it for me.
I do hope to hear from you and if you like will willingly give you all the information I have about what happened to the Belgian Congo after independence.
Yours sincerely,
Also Ran1
