Oh Blah Di...

Irving's right, actually--the little loop of Paul is at the end of "Cry Baby Cry" if you watch the numbers on a CD player. I've also heard the bit about the Watusi and the Twist in "Revolution 9", but I never heard the bit about Eldorado... Hmm, maybe just wasn't listening hard enough.
I was thinking about how the tracks are layed out on the White Album, in pairs, like. "Revolution 9" is so weird, and then they have "Good Night", which is almost Disney-like in sweetness and cheesiness (though wonderful anyway, somehow) as if to help people recover from the experience. Same with "Helter Skelter" and then "Long, Long, Long"-- the one is almost the antithesis of the other. I could keep going.... "Birthday" has a lot of spirit and joy and energy, and then there's "Yer Blues", which has a lot of peculiar and disturbing images--a totally different impression.
Eh. Just musings.
