I have seen most of the episodes and Virgin is repeating the series. Does anyone else find the Cardassians fascinating?

I have seen most of the Deep Space Nine episodes but there's a few I have missed. It's great seeing the series again. I think it's my favourite of the Star Trek series.
It's a lovely bit of escapism

I do agree it is by far the best of all more real somehow and the way it links with start trek works well.

I think the acting is superb...especially Commander Sisko(Avery Brooks) and Gul Dukat(Marc Alaimo)...

Odo and O'Brien have turned up in a couple of films as well there is a lot of talent there, the other series do not have actors that travel as well.

I loved DS9, and I agree, the Cardassians are fascinating.
A bit like the Romulans, no? Not just black and white, good or bad, but with many nuances in between.
There's a Startrek Appreciation Society somewhere on hootoo, but I don't know if it's still active.
Oh, here it is:

Two great episodes of DS9 today on Virgin1...Chief OBrien being framed and ending up in a Cardassian prison...then Com.Sisko, Jake, Quark and Nog getting in trouble in the Gamma Quadrant

Im registered on Virgin(a cable digital system) and they have their own channels(Virgin1, Virgin+1 & Virgin Central). DS9 is shown every day on 1 and +1...

I guess that's a good thing if you're watching the repeats. Keeps the tension until the end.
Bob, I only get BBC World here - plus the German channels.

Hi space1955, DS9 A6671531 is my favourite of the Star Trek series also, I adore Quark's character. And Benjamin Sisko, and Kira and Jadzia Dax!
My all-time favourite episode is "The Visitor": A5762793 (Tony Todd's performance in that was the best acting I've ever seen and it still makes me cry every time I watch it)
but a close runner-up is "Little Green Men": A18718941
Enjoy!

Hi Galaxy Babe Both those episodes were on recently. Tony Todd is and I think he played Kurn, Worfs brother. I am really enjoying DS9, thank you...the series will never date
