I just read your entries on codex and geting out of talking to annoying people so I thought I say hi and that I really liked the entry on getting out of talking to people.

I'm writing this late at night so I almost forgot to mention that I also love Doctor Who and got started on the show because my dad gave me a dvd of some of the Douglas Adams episodes.

hey beowulf! thanks for that smiley - biggrin. that's basically the first reasonably positive comment i got about my codex entry. i'm glad you liked my how to get rid of someone entry.smiley - ok i've used it and it's very effective.
now to serious business...
do you like old doctor who and new doctor who or just new? if you like old i would seriously recommend the city of death. there's this cameo with john cleese in it and i would say it's the funny scene in any old doctor who ever. smiley - laugh
maybe we can be friends? i'm not great at this whole forum-y thing so it's nice to have someone write to me. smiley - blush
anyway thank you ever so much for writing
wonko
ps sorry for not getting back to you sooner (i was on holiday where life is good and internet access is expensive)
pps would it be to good to be true if you were australian and lived in sydney?

i just wanted add: if i seem overly enthusiastic and i seem to be running away with myself it's because i, also, am writing late at night and after a 12 and a half hour train trip back from said holiday. the reason i'm saying all this: i tend to get enthusiastic when i'm tired and i don't think properly.
(it just goes to show why my motto late at night is: if i stop making sense, it's time to go to bed)
i shall now bid thee farewell and send myself to bed.smiley - smiley

i thought that would be too much to hope for (about australia i mean). the only reason i care is because i like the idea that i'm talking to someone in the same timezone as me. it makes talking easier as well because i'm not up late at night when for everyone else it is 11 o clock in the morning.
i had a look at your personal space and we seem to have more than just doctor who in common! i do like long wordy explanations a lot! i have a tendency to blabber.

i just finished reading my first terry prattchet and i'm going to buy more now (i particularly like the ones on the discworld) and i like the princess bride movie though i haven't read the book and i used to do a sort of tae kwon do called chai kwang do (i think that's how it's spelled). I also like naruto and have read some full metal alchemist. i can also kind of program in Basic and ACSLogo (by kind of i mean i can do basic programming).
i'm not interested in economy though.
do you like history or science or art? they're my favourite subjects at school.
i'm quite impatient though and usually don't spend much more than half an hour or an hour on here at a time. especially if nothing seems to be happening. i'm in holidays now though so i go on pretty erratically. i'll be back at school next week so it'll be more regularly around 9 at night (aest).
does gmt mean you're in england?

my favourite aspects of science are chemistry, astro/particle/experimental/physics. my favourite part of art is definitly drawing and sculpture though i suspect i quite like printmaking as well though i haven't had much exposure to it even though my mums a printmaker. i like mediaeval history ( i think a lot of people do though) but especially stuff to do with books because i like reading and my dad's a letterpress printer so i've had a lot of exposure to it.
