I really love this entry! And I trust there's a fab photo or artwork to embellish it in the works! Pity it doesn't quite fit the topic of "armchair birdwatching" as I have a fab photo which my brother took at the Eden Project in Cornwall, of a birdtable with 3 different species of bird on it, and 2 were arguing over some scraps!

Do you want me to link direct to Tavaron's PS on the quote or just leave it? The house style I was taught was to quote "An h2g2 Researcher" in the text then put in the credits tag "Quote provided by Tavaron" (linked to their PS). So many things are changing with the house style, it's much more relaxed now so just let me know which you prefer

re Tavaron's quote, we seem to have problems with credit tags still - it's not obvious who is being credited for an image and who is being credited for a quote. So, would you mind making a link on her name please?

I'm not terribly keen on the old 'an h2g2 researcher' unless the person wants to be anonymous.

I'd be very happy if you did have a photo of birds - because the photos we have so far all show the reflections from the window glass.

You are welcome and I don't regard subbing as work (I am also writing), it's actually keeping me from work I want to be doing (painting) which I am not allowedso I might as well sub until I am fit to paint

Oh wow, in that case I have emailed my brother asking him for the original copy and permission for it to adorn your entry if you like it! I'll email it on as soon as I receive it I know you will love it, it's a cracker and it made me laugh out loud at the expressions on the birds' faces! I'm just praying he still has the original, I stored my copy on Yahoo photos which since went belly-up
