It has been pointed out to me today that your Hootoo name is a big clue as to your whereabouts 
and I arrived home yesterday from Puerto del Carmen and, frankly, there could just maybe have been a mini-meet. Oops. Sorry.

oh, what a shame! I am sorry Jules, but even if you had known in advance, I was still in England visiting parents, following on from the Manchester meet.
I really hope you enjoyed your stay here, and the locals were nice to you.
If you come again, I'll definitely buy you a drink

In Puerto del Carmen, near to the end of the beach by the Fariones hotel. 
And yes, it was a good Meet - the 
were a bit hot but great fun - and the people were all totally divine

I have come close but never yet made it to a meet, must try harder! We were on Calle Pedro Barba opposite the casino area.
