I have a few good ideas for entries and a few newbies to get involved. Can I rely on your good offices again please?

I am just getting into my new job, and there are a few people here who I think are ideal hootoo fodder.

I already have an expert on land rovers and another on disco musicians of the early seventies.

I just need them to be convinced to write now....

(BTW my Alton Towers submision is getting huge.)

Thanks for the enthusiastic response Lanzababy. I am almost completely in mode at the moment as my new job is keeping me extremely busy. Some days I am starting at seven AM and finishing at two AM! It is good fun though, and a d*mn sight more interesting than being unemployed!

Yes, as mentioned, I have been meeting a few people in RL and on another site that I think would be ideal hootoo fodder. What I would like to see happen (just my ideas) is that if I can get their e-mail addresses, someone (an ACE or equivalent) e-mails them with an invite. They can state it is a referral from me, and I will give my RL name for confirmation. OR, I will print off some flyers / send some messages, and someone (again an ACE) can set up a welcome page and I can direct people there.

Anyway, I am directing these ideas to you as *my* editor, so if you need to pass them on, feel free. I'm just full of ideas at the moment.

Regarding my next entry, I have been working on the Towers since my Oatcake entry was accepted and it is now, huge, unwieldy, in need of serious editing and far too much for me to do at the moment. Let's just say it will be in Workshop / PR ready form sometime between tomorrow and February.

Also under *deep* long term consideration are entries on the Abbott's Bromley Horn Dance and Ashbourne Shrovetide Football. The way things are going at the moment they will preview in about, ooh, 2014.

Another researcher offered me some help with these in another thread, but I have gone and lost it. If you happen to know who it was, or can work it out I would be obliged. If not, don't worry, I'll post something in Ask soon.
