smiley - laugh But Sho! some of the Entries ARE boring. I couldn't possibly comment on which ones they are though smiley - blush

We need Entries that people actually respond to. Seriously, this is what makes the Guide a living breathing entity.

I think, since your passing remark, we have had a few new ones - and we try to encourage as many people as possible to have a go.

I'm curious as to why you're learning Korean, for example - and what motivated you? This is the sort of stuff I am interested in - life basically, I have a vicarious interest in how other people experience life. Nosiness I guess.

Thanks for dropping by, I appreciate it, and thanks for a bit of a review here and there, it makes it better for the authors to have a wide response.

Sho - employed again!

well, I have felt bad about not being in PR since I stopped writing entries (time, you know)

But it makes me want to give up when I see some of the subjects - it would be hard enough reading them on the FP, commenting on them when I want to eat my eyeballs rather than look at them again...
I'll be a better researcher and try to comment on 2 or 3 a week

Why am I learning Korean? Fun, really. I work for a Korean company (have done for nearly 12 years) and we are frequently faced with emails or other things we need to do where we can't identify the name of the person because it's in Korean. So now I can read it fairly well (slowly, but I don't make that many mistakes or confuse the N and K for example) and slowly slowly I'm getting a handle on learning vocab and making simple sentences.

It's complicated because there are at least 3 forms: the friendly form you use among your peers or with children, the more formal form that you use with your workmates and the ultra formal form that you use with older people and your boss etc. smiley - smiley We only have one lesson a week so progress will be slow. There's a rather good entry somewhere about the Korean alphabet and how it was invented.
