Hello Icy North, I'm very pleased with what you've done -Thank You!- especially for the links you've added. I was in a quandary about the witches/witchfinder references, but how you have them linked is really great. And you've thought of others that I hadn't.

On another tack - I have just spent the day at Tissington - it is their well dressing starting today and I have taken some snapshots. They are digitals, but I can't say whether they would be good enough for use or if they would be welcomed? I'm going to upload them this evening - would you have time for a look? If any seem usable perhaps you could let me know what I should do with them.

I've returned it to the h2g2 Editors now, so it should appear on the Front Page some time within the next week or two, I imagine (the queue's very short at the moment).

Right, we need to find someone who can make your photo into a 200x200 picture and send it to the editors - preferably someone from the h2g2 Photographers Group (if that's still going).

They're nice freshly made examples. A couple may be a little dark.

Let's see what GB thinks. I guess a lot of it depends how they look when they're cropped to a square picture.

Yes, I thought they were too dark too - never mind - we had a lovely day out and afternoon tea in Dovedale, so it was worth it

Not yesterday, not enough time really, and we were tired and hungry from the visit to Tissington, so just had tea in the Izaak Walton hotel. it would have been perfect weather to walk though. My youngest sister came with me and we were remembering how many times we must have walked it when we were little - our parents took us to the Peak district every weekend from March to October as they had a touring caravan. We were talking about how much warmer it seemed to be than years ago - but we thought that was because outdoor clothing has improved so much - we used to wear hand knitted sweaters and wellies.
