About eight years ago I was on a vacation set up as a tour of scientific sites in England.
One place we visited was the Sedgwick Geological trail.
When I returned home I wrote this article on it. A593606
I don't know if you can use it for anything, but thought I would mention that it is there.

thanks Shagbark, I think that part of the country is in the Lake District? (on the other side of England) I know we are tiny compared to the US, but wars have been fought over which side is which (Wars of the Roses - the locals still hold grudges)
Perhaps I should put a footnote "The Peak District" -not to be confused with the Lake District? - except I don't know how to do footnotes yet, the GuideML page looked really TMI when I checked.
(I am not one to talk, as I was born with absolutely *no* sense of geography. I was looking out of the classroom window when we did Geog at school)

Footnotes are nested and end with a full stop
the software automatically numbers them.
Example A source.

I just checked my old notes shagbark's notebook. and they say
" where the mountains of the Lake district meet the Pennines of Yorkshire." You will find the Dent Geological Fault.
If this were an article instead of a forum it would seperate out the footnote.

A little more research found that it is in Neit5her the peake district nor the lake district
It is in Cumbria next to the langstone Fell by the Cloughh river.
I intend to notify the editors to change one sentence in the article clarifying this.

Thanks Shagbark for the help with footnotes. I just tried it and it was far easier than I thought it would be. I see you liked the new improved Bill Posters too. I'm not really a gangster's moll, although at the time the Bonny and Clyde film was really big, so there was a sort of glamour about playing a bit of 'cops and robbers'
Oh, can I add you to my friends list please?
