We all seem to be well just now. Both daughters have managed to find their way back, and VV is going to be an ACE again


How are you? And what are you doing online at 2am before your exam?

Unfortunately, I was finishing off an assignment that's due in fourteen hours, when I will still be in the said exam. The exam is on social and contemporary issues in psychology, the assignment was on the claims and counter-claims surrounding video game violence. Ah social psychology, the joys.

I'm okayish, my fiancee dumped me at the end of February, two days before my birthday on the first of march. I haven't been completely well since then, and avoided people for a long time. I only just got back into being social and trying to find someone to at least have some fun with, and then one of our close friends got killed in a premeditated hit-and-run. Warren Deane, A famous piercing and scarification artist from England who was born in NZ and came back here to study psychology and philosophy. It wasn't fair; he volunteered at Big Brothers And Sisters New Zealand, and was there when he got in an argument with someone who tried to dump rubbish in front of the building who then followed him when he left work and ran him over. But yeah, have to keep on keeping on, especially as I have two exams and two assignments before the first.

I'll have to give my congrats to VV at some point; is it official that she'll get ACE back, or is there still stuff to be sorted out?

I really don't know what to say. For you to lose you friend in such a way has been very tragic for you. As for your fiance perhaps it will be for the best in the long run

I'm not very good with death, it doesn't seem real to me. The funeral was beautiful; we packed out the church it was held at to the point that about half of the people there had to stand. He was well loved and will be well missed; there's a lot of mystery surrounding his death, and what we've been told by the authorities sounds like a crock tbh. It feels like they know something they haven't told us.

And yeah, I'm not one to try to force someone who fell out of love with me to stay; I want to be wanted, not pitied, and I definitely don't want to live a lie. I've recently met someone I really like, but at this point she just wants to be friends with benefits. It's not all darkness at least.

I feel relatively ready; the assignment is done, and it'll all be over by the end of the first, then I have to find a job and get ready for next year.

How are you? Anything especially good or bad happening on your side?

Sweetheart, I don't think any of us cope very well with death. I am still reeling from losing my Mum and that was over 6 years ago. We all deal with things in different way

Perhaps the authorities cannot tell you anything if there is still an ongoing investigation into the matter. They wouldn't want to botch up things by revealing something too soon.

Actually, a no strings attached friendship just might be what you need right now. It would give you a chance to clear your mind and get your exams and things out of the way, before you even begin to think of taking things further

Me? Oh, I've not been too bad recently. The last year or so has been spent recovering from different illnesses, but hopefully things are all behind me now.

Fair enough. All you can do is live in the moment and be your best; you can't live your life for the departed, but you can honour them by living to the max.

I'm hoping it goes the distance with Remedy. She's a cutie, and we get on really well. We like a lot of the same stuff, including music, books,comedy, movies, etc. And she's good in bed, which is a bonus. It does make my mind a bit happier and clearer; I was feeling a bit insane before Remedy came over for a play, I hadn't been with anyone in any way since Cinnah left, and the stress of being alone was seriously getting to me.

I'm no longer on anti-depressants; the doctors think I'm well enough now not to need them. Unfortunately I'm tired more now; I've taken to having naps more often when I get home from uni or busking, but what can you do eh. The only other side effect from coming off the pills is I've been diagnosed with seratonin-induced borderline anorgasmia; not so fun, but I don't hear Remedy complaining

It's good that you're getting over the illnesses; what were they, if you don't mind me asking?

At least you are not relying on tablets all the time. So you are obviously improving a lot.

I was experiencing chest pains and other problems. Most of the pains turned out to be related to me actually passing a large gallstone, which took quite some time to pass through my gut. My thyroid is underactive and that was producing other symptoms which masked a liver function problem,oh.. and my appendix keep grumbling (a bit like me, really).. The thyroid is still causing an issue, but things seem to have settled down in the other areas.

Now... I think you should get to bed, before you oversleep for your exam

Exam and assignment went well. Had to break the news to a friend that a girl he liked was leading him on but was already with another guy she had no intention of leaving. So much drama around this time of year -__-" At least the only drama in my life is inside my head or limited to a single other person

One exam down, one to go. To my horror, realised today that the next assignment is due thursday not friday, and my last exam is on the first not the ninth. Ah well, have to keep on keeping on I suppose.

Only one exam left and then I'm done for the year. It's relieving, I can tell you. How's life on your side of the world?
