I haven't even lurked around the village yet, but Lady C will be back from her travels very soon I hope. IRL I really need an Amos right now. There are many odd jobs to do with my new house. I'm painting everything that doesn't move, so the cat better watch out if he goes to sleep.

I'm getting through my email backlog over the weekend, so expect one soon. I seem to be doing not much else but work at the moment, which is good, as it keeps me busy. When I'm not working, I paint something in the house.
It's cold, wet and raining here in England, with the possibility of flooding. Also, there will be problems with petrol over the next week or so.
There are times when hibernation seems a very attractive option!

Gwennie told me about your weather. Awful flooding. And no petrol on top of that. How's the new job?

The weather is better, and although wet, the flood risk has gone for now. My new job keeps me very busy, and I'm only part time! But I have a 5 week break soon.

Hi Coely! I hope you are enjoying the Holidays too! Yes, we have lots of snow here in Wisconsin. The animals are all furry and fat!! It is frigid atm, though, with a wind blowing. I am wrapping presents and h2g2ing at the same time!! ho ho ho!

Brrr. It's making me cold just to think about it. Look after the fat animals.
Wrap yourself up too, and have a good time. We seem to be between weathers in the UK. No rain for a few days here, so the flood waters can go down a bit. Although it's chilly, there's been no frost or snow this week either.
