Hello, Mari Rae! I remember your page, and its pictures, from the 'old days'! What a pity they ain't there any more! Just want to say hello and if you want to talk, please do! I live in South Africa so if you want to ask about that, feel free! I also enjoy astronomy so I might check out your son't website from time to time.

Cheers!

Willem

It sounds like you have a story to tell.

Okay, mari-rae! Just so you know - I'm not trying to make trouble for people, but you did ask!

I lost many friends over here, which is why I now come to your page! I need new friends! But as for the ones that left:

Only a few weeks ago I met here a very large group of people, all inhabiting the same body, called LeKZ. They were registered under the name 'Arpeggio', who was only a single person (in fact not even a person but some kind of musical entity) among them. Well due to lots of reasons I consider really silly they were first suspended from h2g2 for a week, then came back and a few days later were banned for life. Along with LeKZ a number of other researchers also left - Barton, Androyd and a few more, while others became very much more subdued. Many discussions I was having just completely dried up just when they were set to become really interesting. At the moment there are still all kinds of repercussions of the ordeal that are affecting myself and other folks over here.

That's it, in short!

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear all this. It sounds like you are sad. What you need is a bracing sea voyage! Why not join up on Pierce the Pirate's ship? It is taking on crew and passengers now... you can catch the link off the Post this week. Or, why not drop into Crossed Purposes Pub and stay for a while. We are all friendly folk there. If you feel you need to let out some aggression, why not join the BFGs? All the links are on my homepage. smiley - hug You are most welcome.

Big F*****g Guns... We are a small heavily armed group of short tempered folk who are out for a good time on the Pleasure Planet of Deimos. Unfortunately we ran out of money, so have been kind of taking things over and helping ourselves. There was a cartoon done of us in h2g2 life...http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A591590 done by Wowbagger. The link to join, well... you don't really need to join up. You can just begin to post here if you like: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F58042?thread=100299&post=1196134#p1196134
