don't you just love tabloid newspapers, nothing like "EXAM RESULTS DISASTER!" to render the actual results irrelevant. who cares what we got, if we didn't get someone elses results, three copies of our results or no results at all we're not worth it.
as it happens i got AAABB. i think i'll appeal for an A in biology since i got 82% in my pre-lim but it's not desperate, i'm more than happy, it's as though a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. a weight i might add, made greater by the horror promised by afore mentioned tabloid newspapers. i have nothing but sympathy for those who had problems with their results but there are problems every year to some extent, and at the end of the day...
...life will go on, we will grow old and die and be forgotten, what do a few letters on a piece of paper really matter?

ok, my internet connection is down for a couple of weeks, i come back on and...
...i have a ridiculous backlog of stuff that i really can't be bothered catching up on, so if i don't get any replies to this i will take that as a sign that i have been forgotten and leave this page to a slow, horrible death!
exams are over, summer holidays have begun. hence i have far too much time on my hands and have to actually make an effort in order to do something with it. at least at school i've got something to do every day, and 6th year aint exactly challenging!
exam results next month, i am actually dreading this, it's been built up so much that i am bound to be disappointed with something. not a very good position to be in!

need i say more?
6 weeks ago i got my pre-lims results and now they expect me to start revising for my final exams?
why can't i just sleep?
why is nothing ever simple?
why is life so full of contradictions?
why do i have these mood swings?
why do i burst into tears for no reason?
just why?

well, i gave up the lent thing, after two weeks which is still quite an achievement for me!!
i'm blaming Euan. he tempted me!! 
i reckon he's a bad influence on me. but i think i can live with it!
and it means i get to eat chocolate again too!

i'm not a catholic, in fact i would be pushed to even call myself a christian, not a practicing one anyway. however, despite this fact three of my friends and i have resolved to each give up something for lent, my challenge is sweets and chocolate, a definite addiction for me. i start tomorrow so tonight i pig out and feel sick! doh! anyway, wish me luck! i'll need it!
