I'm so glad number 1 went OK, but I bet you won't want to unpack much. When is number 2?
Mine is fine, just one more piece of paperwork for my buyers to sign then we exchange. Completion around the Bank Hol, then new job starts a week or two after. EEK

We're not sure when number 2 is but we are being really cheeky because at 2.30 today we are going to view the house next door to the one we are supposed to be buying - maybe that will make them get their skates on.

We forgot to go but no worries, we are exchanging in 4 weeks, completing in November/December and they are paying one month of our rent! I'm a happier girl!

Congratulations. We exchanged on Friday and will complete at the end of this month but aren't moving in until the new year - we just couldn't face the chaos!

At last! You must be very pleased. Lucky you to have the time to wait until the new year. (But rent and mortgage? eek!) I want to decorate, but now the house is full of my stuff, so it's difficult. Going to the London meet?

Can't make it I'm afraid. December is taken up with visiting family as we are starting our married life together by insisting on spending christmas alone rather than being pulled between three sets of parents!

No but it does mean quorn fake meat and lots of pressies because I'm a veggie! It doesn't natter how many times I say I prefer just to have veg I always end up with some sort of meat looking & tasting thing which kind of defeats the object of being a veggie in the first place!
