It would be utterly great if you and your black tee shirt with a fish on it would be able to come to the next Birmingham meet on the 23rd of October.. A3066987.

That would be great wouldn't it. 
It's not something I can commit to at the moment although it is the start of Half Term so I wouldn't have to worry about doing school work that weekend. Now, if someone would move my payday backwards from the 25th, that would be even better. There's not usually very much left by the 23rd.

I'm sort of banking on the fact that three months back payment of my bursary will have turned up in time!
If you're worried about money I have a sofa on offer, Master B and Odo have already bagged the spare room..
I'm sure that whatever we do it will be affordable!

Thats's a very kind offer. However, I think, on the balance of things it is very unlikely that I could justify coming up. I spend all my time telling the girls that we can't afford this or that, so I could hardly set them a good example if I did come. You'll notice when I come to the London meets it's the evening only, I drive myself up and park for free, have a couple of 
and then drive myself home. Always have change from £20, petrol included.
I'll enjoy looking at all your pictures though.

You'd have to either a) move it to London, or preferably even the garden of England. Withing walking distance would be great.
or b) arrange for me to win the lottery and not tell my teenage daughters who would want to spend it all on clothes.
I'll be there one day I hope. Make sure there's a toast to absent friends.

Oh dear, I do have sympathy, and I'm really lucky not to have to consider anything when excising my overworked switch card.
