I heard about this on the radio but the picture of the car is shocking! It's amazing he wasn't killed.
I was telling someone about the town the other day and what it was like to grow up there. Kids study it these days! It's funny to see the 1970's New Town experience written about in social history text books these days.

Cars always look worse after the rescue, than immediately after the accident, as the fireman have to cut the roof off. They probably did the car more damage than the accident.
It is worrying to think that my child is spending more time out there as that's where 'step-mum' lives. But you turned out ok, so I have hope!
Where's the fountain? Surely that's always been there! It has as long as I remember, anyway, although that last time I went there it didn't have any water in it. Have you been back lately?
