A jimmy is sort of a cross between a pickup truck and a van. It's got 4-wheel drive and lots of room for the dogs in an enclosed space. Our other vehicle is a small pickup, with no room for dogs. I refuse to drive around with dogs in the back, unprotected.

I hope you have a good time in Switzerland. Have you been there before? You like skiing, I remember.

Back with Net access - it took slightly longer than planned to finish with Switzerland (Yup Ali, I have skied in the Swiss alps, Zermatt etc. very nice, but not this time).

Yeah! They've been my faves since last November and after meeting them in May they are everything!!!!!! When I see them I'm gonna take my photos from last time and get the to sign it, it's the classic thing you see them doing. Now it will be a laugh if the first thing James says to me is "hello, how are you", its his most famous saying and thats what he said to me when he met me and when he spoke to my friend on the phone!

"Hello, how are you?" is his *most* famous saying - wow, I think he may have some work to do in that area !

The strange thing is, I met one of my collegues today after he'd been on holiday, and do you what, he said "Hello, how are you?" -- What synchronicity!

That was different, ignore that. I'm over it. Now it's called starting GCSE at school. I'm afriad of the science and English teachers. They're both too scary for my liking. I've got 2 science teachers, one of whom used to teach Shim, now I know where he got his crazy sense of humour from

as in starting the 2 years GCSE course ?

Re. teachers, the odd thing is, they're really human (I know I wasn't sure they were when I was at school - but being married to one does show tend to show the human side!)

Re. humor - I think teachers, like medics, need an off the wall sense of humour to help them stay relatively sane - however, I assume you like THHGTG otherwise you probably wouldn't be here, so you ought to be able to cope with their crazyness !

Well autumn's arrived with a vengance & the 2nd duvets have been recovered from their summer home in the loft, in prep for the 'big freeze' -- The car's been so heavily dewed-over that one would think the Thames had flooded over night !

Well, since coming back to this forum I've met Skandal TWICE!!!!!!!! Aren't I the lucky one? I even got my pics from when I met them first time round signed! The best is http://www.soi.city.ac.uk/~jam/esther/signed-J.jpg cos it's addressed to me! Poor thing had never heard my name before so I had to spell it out!

The second time my friend who was supposed to come with us couldn't cos she was ill, so she phoned me around the time I was meeting Skandal and chatted to 3 of them on my phone! thing is James is such a chatterbox he was chatting to her for ages on MY PHONE (!!!!!!!), then Matt shouted at him he was holding up the queue, so he just about got time to say bye to her when Matt grabbed the phone off James and chatted to her! Well, I always knew he was cheeky! The next morning they had a short interview on channel 5, really early as well and Matt was the only one awake! When they asked "so, who's the messiest?" he shouted "It's Matty! He has his underwear hanging from the lampshades!" That guy makes me laugh so much! He did on Sunday when I asked him to sign my photo and he screamed "OMIGOD LOOK AT ME ON THAT DAY!!"

I should frame that phone - it had been honoured !
