Hi, I do indeed get the name Olias from the wonderful aforementioned album. I like your homepage by the way, you seem more obsessed with spreading love and happiness than even Jon Anderson!(Which has to be a good thing).

What an extreme pleasure to meet someone else who has listened to that wonderful album. I had the honour of shaking the great little guy's hand years ago, when he was on a solo tour. (1980?) Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes I do get a little obsessed, and then I get discouraged. The people I've met here at h2g2 have restored my faith in mankind. It's a pleasure hearing from you. I will certainly keep in touch. smiley - smiley If that's OK with you, of course. smiley - smiley

It makes a change to hear from someone who actually appreciates what a great album it is. Most people will simply never hear it or indeed hear of it which i think is terribly sad really. Maybe if i go to an H2G2 meet I'll have to, er, 'distribute' a few copies. I was lucky enough to sort of meet Jon, and the rest of Yes at an album signing a couple of months back. Sadly i wasn't really into it in 1980 what with being only 4 years old! Anyway, feel free to keep in touch, but i must say i'm not really a regular user round here, and i'm a bit of a 'lurker' so don't be surprised if i take ages to respond!

All time favourite? hmm, difficult to say, it probably comes down to Olias Of Sunhilliw, Close To The Edge or Relayer. Bit of a one track mind when it comes to musical taste! What's your favourite?

That's OK. It's nice to talk to another Yes fan. My fav Yes album would have to be "Close to the Edge" (which I listened to just before I put on the current CD, "Foxtrot". I'm a bit of a Gabriel fanatic. smiley - smiley
