Why does sunshine make me feel so happy?
Standing out in the garden earlier with the sun on my face was so nice 
But now it's dark and cold

The reason the Gregorian Calendar goes from 1BC to 1AD without passing through the year 0, and therefore causing us difficulty in knowing when to celebrate the coming of a third millenium wasn't because Pope Gregory was stupid, as I thought 'till today...
They didn't yet have the concept of zero as a number of equal status as one to nine, so it would have been silly to them start time with an inferior class of number.
