Happy New Year
Hope you had a good festive fortnight.
Just realised we hadn't chatted for a while and thought I'd drop by and see how you are doing.

In the words of Roley Birkin QC (Fast Show character), "Of course, I was very, very drunk at the time"
I had a great night, then slept lots on Monday. Lots of eating drinking, dancing and singing. We were at a neighbours and there was about 20 of us. I was in my kilt. Back at work yesterday
Ho hum. What about you? I read your mobile phone saga Any joy yet?
Oh yes, I had the cold last week, which meant a long and alcohol free Boxing day, followed by a long and quiet (especially on here) nightshift. Backshift this week, with a meet up of a few researchers in Glasgow (still trying for one at the end of Feb, though) on Saturday. Apart from that, its the same old, same old.

I love Vodafone. No really... Apparently there going to phone when they've decided exactly how slow they're going to be. In the meantime, I'm going to email You and Yours, and cc the message to Vodafone Customer services or something.
I spent new years with a friend from uni, there was about seven of us, and we played silly party games... and more serious ones; I never realised how hard it was to read aloud once I'd had a couple of glasses of wine; I was trying to read all these complicated words on the trivial persuits questions, and failing miserably!
I need to find out what I'm doing this term; I've said I'll go to Edinburgh at some point to visit my friend at uni there...

Well, even if Feb. doesn't come off, let me know when you are coming up and we'll try to get together anyway
Yes, many a new year i have passed in the company of a select few friends and we end up playing silly games. Saucy Charades was one that springs to mind. Very funny.

I did try and reply to you earlier, but the work proxy was acting up. Isn't it always the way
What I was going to say was:
Please do, i'd love to get the chance to chat IRL again, then I can tell you about Saucy Charades, unless you want me to explain it here
