watching the vatican follys on the tube(telly)and it suddenly strucik me that the papacy and your monarchy are quite similar. both use titles, ceremoney, ritual anddogma to provide a sense of false security and comfort.it all seems part of the delusional system that we allow to exist. perhaps the false sence of security is worth it. does this reonate with you?.....scothom, carefree backwoods playboy

scothom, you have hit the nail on the head and in addition have illustrated an important point on the nature of man vis a vis his cherished delusions. the nature of existance is to many a frightening and empty void. we construct our delusions and cling to them with rabid intensity. when they are challanged, we respond with desparate ferocity.

hi scothom, i've been thinking about your posting for a while; none of what you said resonates with me much to be honest... Apart from the ceremonials, I can't see much in common between the Queen and the Pope but I'm not Catholic so I'm not exactly an expert.
If you want to get a better discussion going about this where more researchers could take part, I'd suggest you post your queries in either <./>Askh2g2</.> or the Forum A1146917
Good luck
