I was just looking at my subscribed conversations and saw your name in a posting. I am intrigued by the 'Cheddar Gorge' bit in your name tag. Do you live near there? I don't live all that far from that part of the Mendips, although I'm a bit more to the East of Cheddar geographically speaking.

Actually, I don't live anywhere near Cheddar Gorge - I live in Manchester!

Cheddar Gorge is a game from the Radio 4 program 'I'm sorrry, I haven't a clue', and since it's quite suited to h2g2 forum postings, I'm trying to encourage people to go and play it at A817319

I've never been to Cheddar Gorge, but it's definitely on my list of places to see...

Ah, I see, I used to listen to I'm sorry I haven't a clue but got out of the habit when I switched jobs a while back (they won't let me have a radio in the office). I know it's on in the evening as well, but I always seem to have other things to do then. Perhaps I should make a point of listening again, I don't remember Cheddar Gorge being on when I last heard the show. Could be fun though - I shall post a word now!
