hi. So u go to Durham Uni.....Wow. I'm hoping to go there in october...I have my offer I just need to make the grades.

I have an offer to study Archaeological science. I also have a place at St. Mary's college.

That should be cool. I have the occasional lecture in the archaeology building...

Any idea wot Mary's college is like???

The best person to ask is Tinkerbell, because she was there (although she didn't like her course, and dropped it), unfortunately I can't remember her U number off hand.

don't be put off by the girls only college thing. The JCR make a big effort to host ents with other colleges so Mary's girls won't feel surrounded by... girls. The buildings seem nice, from what I've seen of them. Have you been here for an openday yet?

I haven't been yet but I'm due up on the 18th for a nite at Mary's and then an open day the nxt day!

I remember my open day... it was really cool, and everyone was so nice, thats why I decided finally that I was going to come here come what might

And for the most part everyone has continued to be very nice.

A word of warning, though: don't come to Durham if you're into decent clubs. its possible to go clubbing in Newcastle, and one can get the train there or share a taxi, but clubbing in Durham is a bit... well.. there's two clubs. Klute and Rixxy's (now called DH-1, but everyone calls it Rixxys although thats not been its name since before I came here) They're kind of small, and tend to have rugby teams who are completely plastered in

Oh dear....I'm more into bars than clubs.

We have millions of bars... well, each college has one, as does the student union, so the potential for bar crawls is quite large...

That's my kind of night...bar crawling. Altho' u prob wouldn't notice that I'm crawling cos I'm soooo short!!
