I watched a pretty scary film last night '1408' with John Cusack and Samuel L jackson.

I'll review it in a wee while. Anyone seen it?

How was the midas traning k? i hated it.

I've seen that film mos freaked me out with the radio playing the same song over and over. Example sampled that in one of his tracks on his first album.

Couple of things didn't add up for me about it Rik!

1 - If this was his specialist subject and he'd written many books on the subject, surely he would have at least heard of room 1408 before. The occurences in that room had been going on for many a year.

2 - They could have given you even the smallest of clues as to why? I don't need everything wrapped up neat and tidy in regard to the story but at least a little clue as to why the room was so evil.

But it was a little scary and I've not seen a scary film for a good while.

Yeah they never lead on to why it was haunted/evil.

Surpose they may be trying to leave it to your imagination or sumat?

I thought jet li was in that film, but john cusack just really looks chinese on the front cover


went to rent shutter island at the weekend, and apparently i can only rent dvd's from the blockbuster im registerd at, i thought once your a member then thats it!?!

I wouldnt go to tesco's in Notts and have my clubcard turned away because its registerd in brighton???

Aye Rik, I'm all for working it out myself but like I said, any small clue would have helped, otherwise it's complete speculation like 'A pregnant alien witch doctor died in there in 1756 and it's cursed' or 'Margaret Thatcher overcooked her baked beans and it's cursed'

aka it could have been absolutely anything since there weren't any clues

I'm a complete scaredy cat... Do not watch scary films.

But watched that a couple of months ago and found it... Not very scary. Same with Paranormal Activity. Couldn't work out what all the fuss was about...!

Yeah Paranormal Activity. I had a sneaky download of that before it was out at the cinema. Was in on my own, switched all the lights off and enjoyed it. It wasn't like 'scary' but made me jump in a few places so it got a for me that did.

Did you like 1408 though? Even though it didn't scare you?

Yeah i like films that you have to work out yourself and get you thinking.

We tried that LoveFilm for the free month mos was wasn't that impressed cuz they sent us the same dvd twice.

It's probebly better if you have the subscription that you have tho.

i actually quite enjoy the training Rik, i think its a good way of selling, im not gonna try it out until next week but from there results so far its working really well, i like the idea of fishing for possible quotes whilst giving the original service

plus its great to be off the phones and our trainer is a right laugh

only thing im vex'd about is my breaks, got here at 10, first break is at 11.15 then my lunch is at 12 im thinkin of doing a sneaky one today and purposely not have my lunch then just go home at 5 instead of 6, bit of a wind up coming back to the phones for an hour after training all day

Oh yeah, Kotch i need you to send me a little Bio of yourself as we've got us a feature on a local papers website and they want all the details of the Event and a little info of all the dj's and acts involved.

Thought it would be better if everyone did their Bio themself's so they can present themself's the way they want to be seen.

Sorry to keep going on about this movie and SPOILER ALERT if you've not seen it (kotch )

When he thinks he's out and he wakes up in hospital in reference to earlier in the film when he's hit by a surfboard. He's with his wife talking in the hospital, then he's out for dinner with her, then he's talking to her at the beach, then he's kicking around his normal life, and goes to get his mail as he does earlier in the film, then it turns out he's not left the room. This is just silly as with all the stuff that happened (that I've just described) that would have taken at least a day and a half.
