Mr. Wallis
Posted Feb 17, 2000
In Bournemouth, there is a graveyard, where a certain Mr. Wallis is burried. He was a personal friend of Charles Darwin, famed for his theory of evolution and his book "The Origin of Species."
Wallis reportedly once asked Darwin, "Are you going to publish your findings?" Darwin replied, "No. While it is quite feasible that animal populations evolved, it is impossible that humans evolved."
Quite what made him change his mind, I don't know.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
