I like a wide range of games, but at the moment top of my list are age of empires 2, quake 3,and homeworld. I've already found a forum discussing quake and halflife and have made a few postings there,oh and i'm trying to figure out how to do the fish symbol ( something to do with brackets so they say), what games are you into?

hmmmm, I like a lot of games, games that I actually finish there is the telling of my favorites........I finished the original System Shock, Total Annhialation, UFO:Enemy Unknown. At the moment I am playing XCOM:Apocalypse, Thief and Lander. However I have just got an AMD Athlon, M/B and a Geforce 256. So all the latest games, here I come.GTA II, System Shock II, X:beyond the frontier, I have been thinking about Homeworld - reminds me a bit of Enders Game - is it worth it ?

we've got a lan of three computers a 266, an amd 450 and an athalon 600. we use them for playing multiplayer games, we have played total annihilation on it, but it tends to get used for quake more than anything else. Homeworlds got quite a good single player game, its only 15 missions long but it is quite indepth with quite a good storyline involved. The best way to play homeworld is multiplayer, if you like TA then you'd probably like HW. I've played demos of system shock 2 and X they seem quite good, but I'm gonna get quake 3 next. If you want to know about homeworld visit www.relicnews.com or the official seirra site at www.sierrastudios.com/games/homeworld/ it has all been done in flash but it should give you a rough idea of the game.

Cheers, I will do , I actually finished QII, but at work so it doesn't count (a few of us used to play it over the lan-until on the deathmatch level 2 (the one with the big cylinders, with water at the bottem (chaingun in the underwater linking corridors) I got 30 odd frags (once you get the only armour and the railgun, you are invinciblewe stopped playing after that)

yeah we play quake 2 at work some times, I recently got game spy for it so i can play it over the internet, we are thinking of going in as a team. I never completed the game though, but I usually get the most frags, ahhh my miss spent college days are responsible for that a whole class of people, no tutor for a couple of months and quake, I had no choice but to learn how to play!

Ahh ye see, when I wur lad at Uni, all this used to be Doom, tho' I spent most time on the net, telnetting to BBS's and playing Genocide (the best MUD ever University......ahhh, free net access, and no money in my third year, led me to become a spodder. In from early Friday evening until Sunday night, who needs sleep when you have Geno. Those were the days

I have played a couple of muds, the discworld one which is quite funny and amud i think was on the amiga. I think the only things i learnt at college was how to grow a beer gut and how to be a quake master. We had free net access, but you weren't allowed to download anything, its much better where i work, we have a direct connection through a webserver and i can do what ever i want to.
