Leather couches

I just bought a new leather sectional and I'm feeling very conflicted about it. See, it looks great, it smells great, it feels great... but everytime I put a pillow on it, it slides off. Everytime I put a blanket/throw on it, it slides off. Worst of all, everytime I put *me* on it, I have to hold on for dear life or I slide off. hmmmm

I had the same trouble with a couch I "inherited" from some relatives who didn't want it anymore. I think its because they kept sliding off, too. I tried puting a couch cover on it, but it wouldn't stay on. Finally, I got a blanket just about the right size for tucking under all the cushions all the way around, and it works -- most of the time. I just have to re-tuck any time anyone stands up after having sat on it for any length of time.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm still trying to figure everything out, but I think I've managed to keep my head above water so far. I've never tried little sticky hands; I think I'll keep to my method of fighting with the blanket! It sounds safer than unknown goo.
