Back to uni...
Posted Sep 23, 2000
I realised recently that I'd neglected my H2G2 page over the past few months, so I'll try to make up for that from now on.
I've got one week left before I return to Uni, which will be fun (?!).
Hopefully I'll even come up with some entries for the guide (miracles may happen... )

Much Stress...
Posted May 21, 2000
Arrghh!! It's that time of year again, the time when normally laid-back, happy students begin to tear hair out by the handfuls, and stay up late into the night attempting to revise (but more likely end up at the pub attempting to forget about the entire thing)
Yep, it's exam season... Mine start on thursday (25th May), so I'm presently making an attempt at deciphering both the lecturers' printed notes (some of which make some sort of sense), and my own hand-written scrawl (most of which is of no relevance whatsoever to any course ever taken by anyone in the history of everything ).
I'm also still recovering from one of my house mates' birthday thing, - the drinking/stupid behaviour kind of got a little out of control, and nearly resulted in someone trying to swim across to the Isle of Wight (eventually we persuaded him that it wasn't such a good idea after all).
Oh, and if anyone knows any good methods for revising, I'd be glad to hear about them.

Holiday time
Posted Apr 13, 2000
It's Easter holiday time!
Yes, that's right - a whole month (for me at least, cos due to being a poor overworked student, I get a whole four weeks off ) with no lectures to go to!
Actually, that doesn't mean I've no work to do, just that there's no one around to tell me to get on with it. Which could actually turn out to be a bad thing
Anyway, I've stuck my new website up at the usual address (if you're interested that is, and you probably aren't).

Just stuff ...
Posted Feb 26, 2000
Ho hum. It's been rather a long time since I wrote anything here, so I'll attempt to make up for it now.
I've just had my results back for my exams before Christmas (I'm still on target for a 2:1 overall...), so now it's back to work (yuck).
I've also recently got the RISC OS Filebase (http://www.filebase.acornusers.org) off to a good start. It took a fair while to program (all the search, display and other bits are hand coded in PHP).
This week I'm going home to play in a concert with the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra, which is good, as they pay me to do so. (That's 'cos I'm a poor penniless student percussionist)

Ok, so I'm an incompetent fool
I didn't bother reading the guide to using the journal, and went and used HTML tags in it
Consider the previous entry to be the ramblings of a derange mind. (actually, you wouldn't be far off)
