Oh, how I do love coffee
How I enjoy a cool glass of Coke
Afernoon tea is delightful
And cocoa is better than a smoke
But then I begin to get anxious
My hands start to tremble and shake
I swear I'll just stick to orange juice
But perhaps just one more cup I'll take....

Studyhall

I am an English teacher by profession, on both the secondary and college levels. As such, I figured that I might be best suited to describing and explaining the eccentricities of the American schooling system. One particularly misunderstood part of the school day in America is the period known as studyhall. I am wondering, though, if I need to learn British English schooling jargon in order to discuss it. Since I'm new here, I am unsure of how thick or thin the language barrier really is. Any suggestion sare appreciated! Look for my Guide Entry soon!
